Mark Dalton (businessman)

Mark Dalton is an American businessman. He is the CEO of the Tudor Investment Corporation.[1][2][3] In June 2011, he became the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Vanderbilt University.[1][4]

Biography

Mark Dalton grew up in Detroit, Michigan, and Dayton, Ohio.[5][6] He graduated from Denison University in 1972 and received a JD from Vanderbilt University School of Law in 1975.[7][1][4][2][3] He worked as an attorney for Sullivan & Cromwell in New York City, then worked as CFO for Kidder, Peabody & Co. from 1979 to 1988.[7][1][5][6][2][3] In 1988, he joined the Tudor Investment Corporation, and he currently serves as its co-Chairman and CEO.[7][6][3]

From 2003 to 2009, he served as the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Denison University.[7][1] He serves as Chairman of the Sheridan Arts Foundation in Telluride, Colorado.[7] He is also a member of the board of directors of the Telluride Foundation and the Buoniconti Fund to Cure Paralysis.[7] He is also a director of Progenics Pharmaceuticals, Inc., Cathay Investment Fund, etc.[7][6] He is also the CEO of Second Management LLC and the sole General partner at D.F. Partners.[2] He is a member of Advisory Board at Shah Capital Partners.[2] He is also a Board Member of America's Foundation for Chess.[3]
